Cenduit is seeking a talented and ambitious UX Designer to lead a completely new start-up product platform from concept to full commercial use. We’re building an integrated web and mobile platform with users across the healthcare system, from researchers and providers to patients. This exciting role is highly influential and critical to the long term success of the product. The ideal candidate must be passionate about deeply understanding users’ needs and behaviors and enthusiastic about building from the ground up. We’re venturing into a new product category and need to establish excellence in UX design from the very beginning.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with product managers and developers to create user workflows, wireframes, visual mock-ups and prototypes for both mobile and web.

  • Establish UX design best-practices, design guides and usability patterns to ensure efficiency and consistency in user experience.

  • Proactively seek out information directly from and about users to determine UX design needs.

  • Define and measure usability with instrumentation and report to management.

  • Conduct usability testing during development and beta.

  • Master the intricacies of competitive product design and guide your product’s design to a superior user experience.

  • Identify user experience issues and provide solutions.

  • Domestic and international travel up to 20% may be required.



  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications skills.

  • Comfortable with rapid, low-fidelity design methods in collaborative, dynamic environments.

  • Specific experience in successfully designing and developing new products on web and mobile with proven ability to influence decisions.

  • Experience with designing in a global context, across languages and locales.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with team members in other time zones.

  • Highly detail-oriented and analytical skills absolutely required.


Education & Experience: 

  • At least 3 years experience in a user experience or interaction design role

  • Prior experience in UX Design for both mobile and web

  • Good business judgment, BS/BA required, MS/PhD a plus, ideally in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering, or other relevant technical field or commensurate experience.
