Overview:

This role sources, recruits, interviews and recommends placement of candidates for open positions from both internal and external sources. Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure outstanding support of recruiting needs. Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates. Extends offers to selected candidates and assists with their assimilation into the organization. Keeps informed of developments in such areas as wages and salaries, employee benefits, and general personnel practices.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Work with management in assigned business unit to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.

  • Creatively source candidates/build talent pools using internet sites, social media, alumni organizations, job boards, technical groups etc.

  • Provide organization information, opportunities, and benefits to potential candidates.

  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

  • Make offers, support onboarding and participate in orientation of new hire.

  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates; recommends new policies and practices; monitors job offers and compensation practices; emphasizes benefits and perks.

  • Serve as a resource to guide management through hiring decisions.

  • Record and report on key recruiting metrics such as time to fill and cost per hire.

  • Ability to build credibility at all levels and proactively network to establish relationships.

 

Education & Experience: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

  • 5 years of demonstrated recruiting experience and a proven track record of self-sufficient, full life cycle technical recruiting.

  • Expertise in recruiting for roles in Software Development, Software Engineering, Application Development and other highly technical positions.

  • Proven ability to assess candidates for the capability to perform job requirements.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems.
