Patient Engagement

Patient Engagement

For a trial to be truly patient-centric, it must have engaged and motivated patients. Fully integrated into our IRT platform, Cenduit’s patient management solutions can improve patient compliance and retention by up to 59% throughout the patient journey, from enrollment to study closeout1. The result? Fewer patients lost to follow-up (LTFU). Fewer dropouts. Better data integrity. And drastically improved patient compliance.

Patient Reminders

Our cloud-based Patient Reminders solution is a powerful patient engagement tool. It allows you to establish a connection with patients through tailored information, personalized medication alerts, motivational messages, and customized appointment prep reminders.

Patient RemindersWhen to use Patient Reminders:

  • Protocols with long timelines, where LTFU might become an issue
  • Complex dosing schedules where patient compliance comes into play
  • Studies for therapeutic areas requiring caregiver support, like Alzheimer’s
  • Trials in therapy areas with a history of high drop-out rates
  • For populations that are difficult to recruit, making retention all the more important
  • Any trial where drop-outs or non-compliance may weaken statistical power

Nothing is lost in translation

Our engagement tool speaks many languages. The Patient Reminders messaging hub can run in more than 166 countries in the following formats: SMS text, email, voice messages, and electronic meeting requests (iCal). The Cenduit Patient Reminders Android App is now available in the Google Plus Store. The iPhone/iOS version will be released shortly.

Reduced site burden and cost

Our tools eliminate the burden of reminder calls and follow up on missed appointments. And they simplify site workflow by dynamically showing only valid user actions according to the patient’s current status. Most important, they reduce the hefty cost of losing patients to follow-up and withdrawals, not to mention the cost of recruiting additional patients to replace such losses. Care, cost, and compliance win.

Integrate Patient Reminders seamlessly with Cenduit’s full IRT program or use it as a standalone service. The deployment cost is less than the cost of losing anywhere from 2 to 18 patients (depending on the indication). Management modules integrate with EDC, Lab, ePRO, and any other systems.
