Executives Join Cenduit’s Team
Cenduit announced today the addition of two new executives to its management team

Cenduit announced today the addition of two new executives to its management team, Jennifer Aquino, Vice President of Project Management, and Sharad Gupta, Vice President of Operations. Cenduit, an Interactive Response Technology (IRT) joint venture between Thermo Fisher Scientific and Quintiles, opens the door to a new level of clinical trial support by acting as the central conduit of data between the clinical supplies and the clinical development markets.
Jennifer Aquino will lead as the Vice President, Project Management, Worldwide. Ms. Aquino has diverse experience as a clinical trials professional with extensive expertise in project management, clinical data management, process definition and management and technology implementation. Prior to joining Cenduit, Jennifer was the Director of Business Solutions with Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Vice President, Voice and Data Systems for Perceptive Informatics, Inc. division of Parexel International. In her tenure at Perceptive Informatics, Jennifer defined and implemented the ePRO strategy for the corporation and managed the release of the first ePRO and Interactive Web Response System. In addition, she established and managed the project management team developing a project management methodology with key performance indicators that increased productivity and effectiveness. Ms. Aquino brings over 15 years of experience in business development, data and project management with her to Cenduit. “Jennifer is a valuable addition to our staff”, says Jogin Desai. “She offers strong leadership and creative thinking to drive growth and increased productivity”.
Sharad Gupta will oversee the worldwide operations of Cenduit as a member of executive team. Sharad is a visionary leader, strategic thinker and has a strong record of consistent profit and revenue growth. Sharad's most recent achievement, prior to joining Cenduit includes, leading an integrated team as the General Manager, Software Group, IBM India Pvt. Ltd in Mumbai. As Managing Director India Operations, Webify Solutions Inc., he successfully built the company from conception, managed and led the team to ultimately oversee the acquisition by IBM in August 2006. As an entrepreneur, Sharad co-founded Amex Information Technologies Ltd., Mumbai, in 1996 in which he led the Sales and Marketing effort, established offices in UK and Europe, and successfully took the company to IPO in 1999, listed at Bombay Stock Exchange. He has held several high profile positions in a career spanning 25 years in the IT industry.

(NYSE: TMO) and Quintiles Transnational Corp. today announced the creation of a joint venture, called Cenduit, that provides seamless, integrated Interactive Response Technology (IRT) services during the clinical trial phase of drug development. IRT is a technology platform that integrates patient interaction systems through a combination of telephone response, Web interface and handheld electronic patient diaries. The use of IRT is expected to grow as pharmaceutical companies look to streamline and better control increasingly complex drug development processes.
