Clinical IVR/IWR or IVRS/IWRS
IVRS/IWRS
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Interactive Web Response (IWR) systems exist to collect and provide access to clinical trial study data for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical study professionals. These systems gather and disseminate data in order to promote the efficient management of clinical trials.
IVRS/IWRS History
IVRS was first used in the clinical trials industry in 1989, facilitated only by phone or fax. In recent years, with the popularity and reliability of the web, IWRS has become the dominant interface. IWRS now commands over 80% of the earlier IVRS market. The primary applications of the combined IRT solution include; patient randomization, site management of clinical study medication, patient study medication assignment, and simple patient reported outcomes. More recently, IRT (Interactive Response Technology) has replaced IVRS as a means of reference.
Cenduit’s IVRS/IWRS Solution (IRT)
The Cenduit solution provides for significant time and cost savings, streamlining access to data, reducing study timelines, and enabling intelligent decisions to drive efficiencies in the management of clinical trials. The system tracks and reports on enrollment rates, compliance, unblinding and safety, as well as returns and reconciliation of the drug supply at the study, program, region, site, or client level. In order to support complex study designs, the Cenduit team implements randomization schemes to eliminate bias and maintain study blinds.
More than 350 studies have been built on the Cenduit IRT platform. From smaller studies to larger, more complex studies, over 230,000 patients have been enrolled, with more than 32,000 sites interacting in our global system, in more than 100 countries. Our system supports over 50 languages using web and phone, including Unicode fonts.
