Privacy Statement

Cenduit, an IQVIA business (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit this web page (“Visitors”) and individuals who use Cenduit services (“Customers”). This Privacy Statement describes privacy practices regarding the use of Company’s web sites and related interactive response technology (“IRT”) services offered by Cenduit (“Services”).

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service, for user surveys and interview feedback. You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy when you click the “I agree” button during the process of submitting your personal data to Cenduit
through our website. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy
have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection and Use
When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services, Cenduit requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as your name, company name, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). The Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services. When applying for a position at Company, we require you provide additional information, including address, summary of education and experience, salary history. The Company may use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the position indicated in your request.

The Company may also use Data about Customers and Visitors for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding the Company, its affiliates, and its partners, such as information about
promotions or events.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain ‘personal data’ that can be used to contact or identify you that is collected in the conduct of clinical trials at the behest of a sponsor or clinical research organization (CRO). Personal data may include, but is not limited to, your email address and phone number. You give your consent to receive Cenduit Patient Reminders when you are enrolled in a clinical study. In some cases, Cenduit only receives pseudonymized personal data. If you have any questions about your consent, please contact the study sponsor or CRO managing the study on behalf of a sponsor with any questions. We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Cenduit Patient Reminders to communicate reminders for upcoming visits and medications as well as general study messages sent out by a sponsor conducting a clinical trial.

Log Data
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics ("Log Data").

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service's functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer our web sites and Services. This information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), device and application identification numbers, your location, your browser type, your Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, the pages and files you viewed, your searches, your operating system and system configuration information, and date/time stamps associated with your usage. Due to Internet communications standards, when you visit or use the Company’s websites and Services, we automatically receive the URL of the website from which you came and the website to which you go when you leave our Website. This information is used to analyze overall trends, to help us improve our Websites and Services, to track and aggregate non-personal information, and to provide the Websites and Services. For example, Cenduit uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate the Company’s Web sites. Cenduit also collects IP addresses from Customers when they log into the Services as part of the Company’s “Identity Confirmation” and “IP Range Restrictions” security features.
 

Cookies, Web Beacons, and IP Addresses
Cenduit uses commonly used information gathering tools, such as cookies to collect information as Visitors navigate the Company’s Web sites (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser
language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions Visitors take on the Company’s Web sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked). As described more fully below, we may use these cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer Web sites and Services, track users’
movements around our Web sites and Services, serve targeted advertisements and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. This section describes the types of Web Site Navigational Information used on the Company’s Web sites, and how Visitors information may be used.

Cenduit uses cookies to make Visitor’s interactions with the Company’s Web sites easy and meaningful. When you visit one of the Company’s Web sites, Cenduit’s servers send a cookie to your computer or device. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you; they merely recognize your Web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to Cenduit, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or filling out a Web form (such as “IRT Help Desk,” “Contact Me,” or “Request Demo”) or have previously identified yourself to Cenduit, you remain anonymous to the Company.

Cenduit uses cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer or device when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer or device after you close your browser or turn off your computer. Visitors can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our Web sites or Services.

Cenduit uses Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Visitors’ usage of the Company’s Web sites and interaction with emails from the Company. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular Web site or Service tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a Web site or Service tied to the Web beacon. For example, Cenduit may place Web beacons in marketing emails that notify the Company when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of the Company’s Web sites. Cenduit uses Web beacons to operate and improve the Company’s Web sites, Services and email communications.
 

Compliance with Laws
We will disclose your Personal data where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service. Our employees are trained in data protection in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Cenduit acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. If personal information pertaining to you as an individual has been submitted to us by a Cenduit Customer and you wish to exercise any rights you may have to access, correct, amend, or delete such data, please inquire with our Customer directly (e.g., clinical trial sponsor or clinical research organization). You may request to review, correct, delete or otherwise modify any of the personal data that you have previously provided us through our website as a Visitor by contactingprivacy@cenduit.com.

 

Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information we have collected from you.

 

International Transfer
Your information, including Personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that data is entered into a web user interface whose servers are located in the United States, where it is processed.

In addition, Cenduit may transfer your data as contracted by the study sponsor or a CRO managing a study on behalf of a sponsor.

You agree to this Privacy Policy, the collection, use, and transfer of information in accordance with this policy when you click the “I agree” button during the process of submitting your personal data to Cenduit through our website.

 

Children's Privacy
Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 25, 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
 

Communication Preferences
Cenduit offers Visitors and Customers who provide contact information a means to choose how the Company uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of the Company’s marketing emails.
